SERVICES OFFERED
We provide notary and loan signing service in connection with real estate transactions.
Service will include: Presenting and identifying loan documents to the borrowers,
witness the signing and ensure proper execution of documents, administer oaths or
affirmations if applicable, notarize signatures, and forward executed documents to
the closing agent or other designated office.
Examples of real estate/loan documents include but are not limited to the following:
Property Purchase or Sale
Refinance
HELOC - Home Equity Line of Credit
Loan Modification
Other type of Real Estate Transactions
We provide general notary service. Examples of common
notarizations include the following:
Acknowledgement
Copy certification
Jurat/Affidavit (oath or affirmation)
Proof of Execution
Deposition/Subpoena
Follow these steps to prepare for notary service:
1. Know what type of notarization you need.
As the signer, you must tell the notary what type of notarization you need.
2. Make sure the document is 100% complete.
Make sure there are no blank spaces on your document before you meet with a notary.
3. Bring acceptable identification.
4. Ensure the name on your ID matches the name on your document.
5. Have all signers present for the notarization.

Fees range from $125 - $225 depending on the loan package/documents.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT TYPE OF IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO NOTARIZE A SIGNATURE?
Examples of acceptable ID include the following:
A driver’s license or identification card issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
A United States passport.
An identification card issued by another state.
A driver’s license issued by another state or by a Canadian or Mexican public agency authorized to issue drivers’ licenses.
An employee identification card issued by an agency or office of the State of California, or by an agency or office of a city, county, or city and county of California.
Permanent resident cards are acceptable (if the card is current (unexpired) or was issued within the past 5 years).
WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE ACCEPTABLE IDENTIFICATION?
The signer will be required to have two (2) credible witnesses personally known to the signer. The credible witnesses must take an oath or affirmation swearing to the signer’s identity.
Each witness must have a valid photo ID.
WHAT IF I SIGNED THE DOCUMENT BUT CANNOT APPEAR BEFORE THE NOTARY PUBLIC?
If a person, (the signer), has signed a document but cannot personally appear before a Notary Public, another person, (the subscribing witness), can appear on the signer’s behalf to prove the signer executed the document.
The identity of the subscribing witness must be established by the oath of a credible witness who personally knows the subscribing witness and who is known personally by the notary public.
Each witness must have a valid photo ID.
IMPORTANT: A subscribing witness cannot be used in conjunction with real estate transactions, power of attorney documents, and certain notarial acts requiring an oath or affirmation.
CAN A NOTARY PUBLIC CERTIFY A COPY OF ANY DOCUMENT?
A notary public may only certify copies of powers of attorney under Probate Code section 4307 and copies of his/her notary public journal that have been requested by the Secretary of State or are pursuant to a subpoena or court order.
A certified copy of a power of attorney that has been certified by a notary public has the same force and effect as the original power of attorney.
